My name is Ashley Stripling. I had my first job when
I was twelve years old. I was a babysitter for a three year old. The next year, the three year old turned
four years old and had a baby brother who I occasionally babysat during the summer in addition to the four year old.
I learned alot about children and loved caring for them. I was never out of employment because after that, I became
my community's babysitter. I believe that having experience caring for children even at a very young age has helped
me to become more understanding and gives me an advantage because I have cared for children of all ages at some time or other.
I want to become a teacher so I can share my love of children and people.
I am twenty years old and am a sophmore at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College where I am an Early
Childhood Education major. When I complete my associate's degree at ABAC I plan to attend Georgia Southwestern
through ABAC. After I complete the bachelor's program I hope to get a job as a third grade
teacher.
